For Moishe--Psoriasis

Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin condition. The anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids in fish oil, topically and internally, have shown benefits. If you prefer plant oils, you can try omega-3-rich flaxseed oil, applied topically and taken internally.

Topical aloe vera reduces the redness and flaking of psoriasis. Commercial licorice root gels have been shown to boost the action of topical steroids. You could also make a strong licorice root tea. Cool, strain, and apply as a compress. One study found that Relieva, a homeopathic product derived from Oregon grape root, reduced symptoms. A topical preparation of avocado oil and vitamin B12 has also been shown to help. Frequent application of capsaicin cream (derived from cayenne pepper) can reduce itching associated with psoriasis. After use, avoid touching eyes, nose, and other sensitive mucous membranes and was your hands thoroughly.
