If you are smoking and can't seem to quit, then try lobelia (herb) tea. Lobelia has lobeline, which can fill the same receptor sites as nicotine, but it is not habit forming. There may be an herbal "smoking remedy" in your health food store. If you can't get away from the smoking ritual, then try smoking lobelia herb mixed with colt's foot herb. These two herbs can make a nice smoking substitute and the colt's food soothes the lung tissue. If you absolutely cannot give up the cigarettes yet, then at least switch to a chemical-free and additive-free cigarette, like "American Spirit," which is 100% tobacco and free of the added toxins.
