MSM

A dietary sulfur, a very prominent compound in the body, after water and sodium  MSM is actually the prime source of bio-available sulfur for the body, containing 34% sulfur important for body elements like hormones, enzymes, antibodies, antioxidants, in tissues and body proteins.  Four major amino acids, methionine, cysteine, cystine, and taurine depend heavily on sulfur.  MSM originates in the ocean, reaching the human food chain via rainfall.  MSM supplements boost healthy hair and nails, skin softness, and encourages repair of damaged skin by stimulting the production of collagen.  MSM increases blood circulation and maintain acid-alkaline balance.  It boosts both natural detoxification and immune functions by helping the body produce immunoglobulins (antibodies), especially helpful for allergies, asthma, emphysema, stomach digestive problems.  MSM is often used for arthritic muscle and joint pain, stopping pain impulses before they reach the brain.  It relieves constipation, and helps heal burns and scars.  Today's supplement is derived from a naturally produced form of DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide).
