Liver healing foods-(1/2 cup cook or 1 cup raw)-cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, broccoli sprouts.
Green Leafy Vegetables and Herb (1/2 cup cooked or 1 cup raw)-parsley, watercress, kale, chard, cilantro, beet greens, collards, escarole, dandelion or mustard greens.
Citrus-1 orange or 1/2 juice of fresh lemon or lime.
Sulfur-Rich foods- garlic ( at least 1 clove, minced) onions (1 1/2 cup cooked), eggs (2), daikon radish (1/4 cup sliced, either raw or cooked)
One of the processes by which the liver eliminates toxins is known as sulfaction-so called because sulfur is an indispensable part of the procedure. These foods make toxins easier to eliminate.

Whey is a rich source of the amino acid L-cysteine, which, like vitamin C, is a precursor to glutathione. Whey also contains methionine, glycine, glutamine, and taurine-amino acids that are crucial to the liver's detox.
Nutritional yeast is a complete protein that contains 18 amino acids and fifteen minerals and is source of B vitamins. Vitamin B1 help decrease the effects of alcohol, smoking, and heavy metal toxicity. Vitamin B2 is used in the production of glutathione. Vitamin B3 is also known at pantothenic acid, and helps detoxify acetaldehyde produced from alcohol and by Candida overgrowth. Red Star Nutritional Yeast also contains Vitamin B12.
Colon-Caring Foods-powdered psyllium husks (1 to 2 teaspoons in 8 ounces of water), milled or ground flax seeds (2 to 3 tablespoons), carrot, apple, pear, berries (1 cup).
