Health Benefits from Asian Pastas

Asian noodles like soba noodles, bean thread noodles and udon noodles area superior to refined pastas.  Low in gluten, low in fat, easily assimilated and less likely to cause food sensitivities-they offer important support during a healing diet.  Chinese bean thread noodles (also called cellophane noodles), made from mung beans, are idea for people looking for pasta's heartiness without weight gain.  Japanese soba noodles, made with nutrient-rich buckwheat, are lower in fat than traditional ramen.  People with wheat-gluten sensitivity do especially well with rice noodles like Japanese udon noodles.
